Under this service, our support worker will choose to live within the comfort of your home or move to a supported living facility for a short duration. You can avail of respite care if you need special care for a short period to boost your recovery, your carer needs a break or you wish to explore other accommodation options while you secure a permanent one. Also, our respite care or transitional support service is ideal for those who wish to try different accommodations before deciding whether to opt for STA (Short term accommodation) or MTA (Medium term accommodation).

Access to NDIS-funded Respite Care or Transitional Support Living is subject to eligibility and assessment by the NDIS. The frequency of accessing our STA & Respite services is adaptable to your individual needs and the level of support required. Typically, you can access these services for periods of up to 14 consecutive days, within an annual limit of 28 days.
